Behringer X1832usb Manual

I am posting today in hopes that someone will be able to help me figure out what I am doing wrong when trying to connect my mixer to my pc.
A few months ago I picked up a Behringer xenyx1832 for a band room I shared with a friend at his place. He decided to move out of state, so I needed to take all my equipment to my apartment.
So I have set the non loud things up, and have been trying to connect the mixer to my pc but keep running into problems that I can't figure out. My pc is a 64bit windows 7 pro and I went to Behringers website and downloaded: USB Audio Driver 64-bit USB ASIO driver
Then when I have it connected to my pc, the mixer will receive a signal and play sounds that the computer is making, but it will not send a signal to the pc. I go into the recording devices and select Behringer ... as the default, but when I try to listen to it no levels are given. And when I open up Audacity, Mixcraft, and another DAW I can't remember at the moment, it again has nothing coming from the mixer.
The little red button for usb has been pressed, but nothing goes to the pc.
Any ideas?
